What We Do Locally

We are People of Action

Much of what we do locally is in the area of youth development. We provide 4-year college scholarships and sending students to leadership training at Seminar for Tomorrow’s Leaders and Rotary Youth Leadership Awards camp. We recognize students monthly from our local area elementary, middle, and high schools through our Students of the Month program. We donate dictionaries and contribute to Project Graduation. We sponsor the Interact Club at Lely High School and support the Charter Middle School and YMCA After-School and Summer student programs.

Feeding the Hungry

Feeding the hungry is another club priority through Meals of Hope, Our Daily Bread, Meals on Wheels and Collier Harvest.  In addition, locally we contribute to the Joy of Giving, Habitat for Humanity, St. Matthews House, Alzheimer’s Support Network, Shelter for Abused Women and Children….
